| In the unfortunate court case of Marion Haesakkers-McLuskey and John Haesakkers vs Bert Van Beem and Toos Van Elewoud the settlement between both parties based on the sale of the Fairywoods Kennel has now been reached and settled on the 19th of December 2011. Along with the cash settlement from Toos van Elewoud to Marion and John Haesakkers, Van Elewoud will refrain from producing any litters directly or indirectly until the 1st of January 2013. It is also ordered they will refrain from any breedings using their own stud dogs, co owned stud dogs, leased stud dogs or dogs proven to be associated or given to them or by them with the sole purpose of breeding. The stud dog Aquarius is not available for stud service until July 1st 2012. It was also ordered the name "Fairywoods" be transferred back to Toos van Elewoud immediately. As of 1st of January 2013, litters and matings of Toos van Elewoud are legally allowed to resume. |
